Episode 7 – Wings Over the Heartland
This week’s Wing & Clay Nation show features a very special friend. Gary Harpole, owner of the Orvis endorsed Harpole’s Heartland Lodge in Nebo, Illinois about an hour north of St. Louis will be on hand to discuss his beautiful lodge and hunting operation as well as the fabulous waterfowl/upland bird hunting combo package he offers. The late season snow goose season is underway, and Gary offers a great package that includes snows in the morning and upland bird (pheasant, quail, chukar) hunting in the afternoon. Great hunting, food, and lodging are standard at Harpole’s Heartland Lodge. For deer hunters, the lodge is located in Pike County, Illinois, one of the finest whitetail locations in America. In addition to Gary’s interview, the show will feature the latest in Wing & Clay News from around the country and a great You Make the Shot segment where Marty answers listener questions about hunting and shooting.
