Episode 9 – Canadian Prairie Waterfowl Hunting
For the waterfowl hunter, there is no experience like seeing the migration up close and personal in the Western Canadian prairie region. Millions of ducks, geese and sandhill cranes move through this region of the country from early September until early November. This week Marty will be visiting with Mike Holman of Saskatoon Waterfowlers, one of the very best waterfowl hunting operators in all of Canada. Mike and Marty will discuss the ins and outs of hunting in Canada and will talk techniques from calling to decoys to hunter placement to great retrieving dogs. Marty will also feature his Wing & Clay News segment featuring news from the industry as well as upcoming events of interest in the shooting world. There will also be a You Make the Shot segment where Marty answers listener questions about wing or clay shooting.
