Show Guest
Elizabeth Lanier Fennell
It’s hard to imagine that someone with an interior design degree could become a full-time shooting instructor, but that’s exactly what Elizabeth Lanier Fennell did. She attended a shooting lesson by invitation and wound up sharing it with another shooter, but she was hooked from the start. While raising three kids, finding the time to shoot was tough, but Disney movies and Happy Meals afforded her the chance to squeeze in an hour lesson from time to time. After taking a trip to Scotland for driven birds she decided to involve other ladies in the shooting game by getting them together once or twice a month while the kids were in school and husbands were at work. That was the foundation of what is now G.R.I.T.S (Girls Really Into Shooting), which currently has nine chapters in various states. She is an NSCA Level III Instructor an advocate for ladies hunting and shooting, whether recreational or competitive. She and her husband own the Fennell Shooting School near Charlotte.
Jack Homa
Jack Homa, owner of Electronic Shooters Protection (ESP) was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He spent 23 years in the telecommunications industry before deciding to relocate to Colorado where he has been happily married for 37 years. In 1996 Jack discovered and purchased ESP from an audiologist after recognizing that the custom molded, in-ear technology in the product was not being used by any other hearing protection company in the shooting industry. Since the purchase of the company, Jack has used the same suppliers as he expanded the product line over the years. You will find Jack at many consumer and trade shows as well as at major shooting events around the country. He can be a wealth of information for those with questions about shooting and hearing. He is a sportsman and proud member of the NRA, SCI, DSC, NSSF and NSCA to name a few. Every year, ESP donates upwards of $50,000 in product value annually to shooting associations and charities in support of the shooting sports.
